Few Engineering Students Built A Rocket From Scratch & Launched It To A Record-Breaking Height

Only a short decade ago the orbital space and beyond was only reachable by government agencies with large space budget. Now, even students are slapping together rockets bound for the skies. And breaking records!

A group of engineering students from the University of Southern California designed and manufactured a rocket recently, called the Fathom II. Earlier in March, they launched it from Spaceport America in New Mexico.
